Happy New Year!
We arrived home on New Year's Eve.
We hiked down the 4-wheeler trail to the fort project.
Enjoying being outside with our family.
SC Christmas
We flew to SC to spend Christmas with our daughter, son-in-law and four grandkids!
Christmas cookies were baked and decorated, as well as painted.
The dog was walked.
Preparation for and celebration of Christmas was filled with anticipation and joy.
Holly welcomed everyone.
PawPaw spoke with emotion.
His Scout Masters injected humor, pride and encouragement.
He honored his mom with flowers and the Eagle Scout Mother's Pin.
His fellow Scouts honored him with the Eagle Salute.
A trip downtown resulted in Putt Putt.
The Christmas Eve service that included the children participating in the Nativity was outstanding.
Our proudest moment was Jack's Eagle Scout Ceremony.
As Scouts themselves, his siblings all participated in his ceremony.
Charlotte and Mitchell were Color Guard.
His Dad had the honor of presenting his Eagle Badge.
Jack is the first of our five grandsons to receive his Eagle award.
The other four are on track and our granddaughters are on track for the Girl Scout Gold Award.
Christmas at the Farm
Our next trip was to East Texas to spend a few days with Nani Dot (Mickey's mom).
Dot took a turn, as well.
Keeping Dot warm was a priority and we all enjoyed the fun, family and food.
Amarillo by morning en route to E TX.
We all met at Steve's farm to celebrate.
We painted Christmas cookies.
Everyone participated.
Oven Repairs
My husband is a genius!
We pulled the heavy thermador out to make a small work area.
The convection feature went out some time ago.
Convection is needed for baking in the mountains.
Fortunately, our toaster oven has the comvection feature, so we have gotten by.
A power surge fried the circuit board, but when the new one arrived, it was different.

We began our holiday travel in AZ.
Turkeys!
Uhhh.. Did you shoot his head off?
Our adventures took us to Cochise Stronghold in the Dragoon Mountains.
Gun Fun!
With our son, daughter-in-law and grandsons!
They had just received a new windshield that needed an installation.
DONE!
The boys painted cookies.
We brake for rock climbing,
Tower climbing,
Meditating,
And posing for Grammy.
Our lunch break found us with rifle in hand.
We are thankful for our time with family.
