Food, Fun, Food, Flowers, Food, Family...and did I mention Food?

We always look forward to Memorial Weekend with family in the mountains!

Well this is something different!
Moonshine?

Peach Moonshine

Cheers!
Yes, we could taste the peach flavor, but the moonshine was a little strong.

This one's for you, Dottie B!

Memorial Weekend 2013.
Thank you for the fun memories, great food and the four green thumbs who made the flower garden again!

Something new is in the kitchen.

Gratefully, we arrived on Friday ahead of this - rain, sleet, snow pellets.
 This is perfect mountain weather!
BRRR... this calls for a fire.
We will accept the moisture with gratitude!
Mickey and Terry redesigned this cabinet.
 This is the reason.
The new refridgerator is big, roomy, modern and stainless.
Saturday was a day of rest and fun.
We went for a ride, napped, and hiked.
And enjoyed a fire outside.
Thank you Terry and Robin for your friendship and help.

Found

These pictures were left behind after our last trip.
So, here you go...
This is an Aspen tree with buds!  New to us.
Maybe we have never been here to see them.
 Hey, where have you been?
Firewood is mandatory and clearing is satisfying.
There is a tree on the end of that cable.
 There it is!
Done!
