Thursday in the West

It is the last day of GKC 2015. :(
We already look forward to next year.
There are just a few things that still need our attention:
Writing thank you notes is first on our agenda.
We are so excited to be able to measure everyone together again.
Back to front, eldest to youngest:
Jack, Will, Holly, Grant, Mitchell, Brock, Charlotte
Average growth is approximately 1.5"
If Jack grows any taller, PawPaw may need a step ladder to measure him.

This awesome demonstration of strength was a deterrent to the boredom of watching others grow.
One more quick game of Mumbley-Peg.
The Wild West was a tremendous success with much laughter, fun and new experiences.

Wednesday in the West

The day started with repairs to the zip line.
And it's running!

When BB Gun time came, we had to have an early celebration for Charlotte.
She needed a gun to participate.
A pretty pink BB gun!
All our shooters.

The boys headed down to the creek for paintball.
The girls made lunch and delivered it.
The boys cleaned their markers.

The drink of the day.
Walkie Talkie Commandos.
Mitchell found his first.
Charlotte was next.
Brock came in third.
The big kids found theirs on the trail.
A fire was needed for hot dogs and s'mores.
This is when I noticed Grant's paint ball mark!.

A few more zips.

Tonight we complete the movie series.
We have all loved this evening entertainment and hate for it to end.

Tuesday in the West

After breakfast at the hunting lodge, we headed south to Fort Union.

We arrived for a guided tour.
Brock found a snake skin alongside the path.
The ruins are being preserved, but not restored.
The kids were put in jail, but we bailed them out.
What would Grand Kids Camp be without them?
We had a light lunch in the picnic area.
After lunch, there was a quick game of Mumbley-Peg.
Returning home, we took a ride to the creek.
The boys played paint ball.

The drink of the day today.
