Today I realized that I haven't
mentioned food this week!
Probably because we are catering
to a ten year old whose
favorite vegetables are
potatoes, corn and pickles!?!
However, this morning I served
Mickey's favorite breakfast -
Breakfast Casserole,
Fried Apples, &
Amish Friendship Bread.
Jake learned a new skill today-
wood chiseling!
But one of his favorite things
to do here is play Farkle!
Maybe because he is so good at it!
And it is such fun!
Now, back to work!
Step 1 - Place the log on the splitter.
Step 2 - split the log.
Step 3 - turn it around and complete
the first split.
Step 4 - Prepare for the "spit"!
Step 5 - ride it!
This evening on the front deck,
we played Uno and Farkle again
and enjoyed the beautiful sunset!
