Ahem... yeah, I missed it by about 24 hours.
We were in Dallas with Dot, my mother-in-law for Mother's Day and her birthday!
It was indeed a quick trip, a 24 hour turn-a-round.
We just wanted to spend some time with her, so we arrived about noon on Saturday, bringing lunch. Took her shopping, to a movie, Water for Elephants (it was outstanding - I always prefer to read the book first), met brother-in-law and sister-in-law for dinner at Outback, then to Dot's home for cake and ice cream. Sunday morning, we went out to breakfast, then headed home.
I am currently planning to post from the mountains next week!
