Saturday Evening Post


This Saturday evening has been filled with plans for the annual Memorial Day FBIL and FSIL trip to the mountains.
Our plans include food, projects, food, activities, food, drinks, food, fun and food.  Fortunately, a famous garden in East Texas produces fresh veggies starting about this time each year.  We have an importer who calls with reports on the status of said garden fresh vegetables for a week or so before the harvest and delivery.  Today's report included potatoes, tomatoes, squash, zucchini, bell peppers, cayenne peppers, jalapeno peppers, banana peppers, onions, lettuce and spinach.  This info comes from my double green thumb BIL and SIL.
YUM - bring it on!
